The house designs in Ballarat are just so creative with this team of home builders, and I loved my experience
My background is all about art and modernity and the blend of colours and paintings and thus when I had to redesign the bedroom I really wanted it to seem like it was an artist that had done the thinking. As always, for every renovation, I approached my favourite Australian home builders, Dracon Construction and told them what I had in mind.
I’m gonna tell you about three of the renovations that I had done that starkly spoke art and painting!
A bold geometric pattern on the wall
I was going through some house builder blogs while researching ideas and there was this one pattern that stood out. The professionals said that they had done it in a home and it had looked lovely. It is bold geometric patterns in monochrome colours on the wall behind the bed. Looks stark, simple and just gorgeous.
Curves and lines
As an artist, I love that these days we are seeing such elegant new house designs that are breaking away from the monotonous traditional appearances that one would usually see. So on the wall that is opposite to the bed, there is a curved mirror that is placed just above the tall cabinet shelves. It is like a rectangular fixation and a circular one on top of it. Loved the idea.
3d wall decor
For wall decor, people usually stick to paintings and 2d art but the local Ballarat builders were like ‘hey, why don’t we experiment?’. So well, I got some lovely and experimental 3d art on the walls and if that doesn’t get people going ‘wow’, nothing will!
I trust these Australian home builders for their sense of style
Whether it is fancy or classy or elegant or whatnot, these guys pulled it just perfectly right. House designs in Ballarat have evolved so much in recent years and that just goes to show how much you can experiment!
